The high school production of the musical Oklahoma! is set to open Thursday, March 16th in the Northwestern High School cafeteria. Show dates include March 16th, 17th, and 18th with all start times at 7:00 pm. Tickets are on sale through Hometown Ticketing or at the door the night of the performance. Prices are: $10 for priority seating, $8 for adults general admission, and $6 for student general admission. No cash will be taken at the door.
Our Northwestern students have worked incredibly hard and would love a packed house in the audience each evening!

On Monday, Northwestern FFA members volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank and packaged 225 ready to go boxes for area residents.
Dani Via was chosen as Northwestern's Youth of the Year by the Exchange Club of Springfield. She will have the opportunity to write an essay for a scholarship!
This is a reminder that 7th through 12th grade parent teacher conferences are this evening from 4-8 pm. Appointments are not necessary. There is also an 8th grade parent meeting at 5:00 and a College Credit Plus meeting at 6:00 pm. Both meetings are in the cafeteria.

Mrs. Wildermuth's 7th grade math students have been working hard on their Winter Exam by working with percents. They had to choose items to "sell" in their store, markup the price, then discount the price. On the day of their exam, they participated in a simulation of buying and selling their items. Students have had so much fun with this assignment, and they are learning real world concepts that they will take with them forever!
The HS Boys and Girls Basketball teams are back in action on Dec 28&29 at Covington Tournament. If you are planning to attend, there will be no passes accepted at the gate—cash only!!!
